MEET THE BIGBALER 340 PLUS BALER

With a 48 stroke-per-minute gearbox speed and superior MaxiSweep™ pickup, New Holland BigBaler 340 Plus balers deliver high-density, well-shaped bales, and will help you substantially increase your baling capacity. Other features include an extended baler chamber for up to 10% higher bale density, SmartFill II system to ensure perfect flake formation, Loopmaster Knotting system minimizing popping twine, and partial or full bale eject system.

BALE DENSITY

The three-sided density control system monitors plunger load and sensor readings, automatically adjusting hydraulic pressure to maintain uniform density, with a proportional valve ensuring stable regulation at max pressure. In case of electronics failure, manual adjustments can be made.

THE PERFRCT KNOT

The Loop Master knotter system makes two knots per bale: the first finishes the bale, while the second, a loop-style knot, starts the new bale. This loop-style knot is 37% stronger than a standard knot, boosting twine tensile strength by up to 26% and reducing breakages. With twine fed from the top and bottom, the system eliminates friction during bale formation, minimizing wear and stress on knotter components. 

AXLE VARIATIONS

Three axle options are available: single axle, tandem axles with Auto-Steer, or large-wheeled tandem axles with Auto-Steer, all optional with hydraulic brakes. Auto-Steer provides a smoother ride and efficient turning, while the large-wheeled tandem axles reduce soil compaction and improve high-speed stability. All options ensure a transport width under 10 ft. (3.0 m) and offer a variety of tire choices.
