MEET THE E48 EXCAVATOR

The Bobcat E48 is a well-balanced machine, delivering the horsepower, precise controls and comfort for increased productivity and first-rate jobsite results. This conventional-tail-swing excavator comes with a slew of standard features designed to increase operator productivity while making the work easier and more comfortable. Standard features include low-effort joysticks, a dual-flange roller track system for enhanced over-the-side-digging, a 5-inch digital display, an integrated lift eye and password-protected keyless start.

FULL-FEATURE DISPLAY

The standard, easy-to-read cab display provides full-featured machine interaction and monitoring capabilities from right in the cab. You can use it to activate or deactivate auto idle. Diagnostics and detailed operation information can be accessed through the display, including monitoring, troubleshooting and error conditions. If there’s a problem with the system voltage, engine oil pressure, or other major functions, you’ll know.

PERFORMANCE BOOST

Bobcat E48 R Series
Option up for more versatility with performance-boosting features including a clamp-ready extendable arm or an angle blade. Reach up to 30 in. more than the standard arm with the extendable arm option with less repositioning. Dump spoil further away from the excavator and reach further back into the trench for cleanout purposes. Loading trucks is easier, too.

SERVICEABILITY

Larger fuel filters in R2-Series excavators provide better system protection and longer life before replacement. With more than double the media surface area, it has more holding capacity to capture impurities for longer intervals. The filter is also easier to change and includes a clear water bowl for easy monitoring and a sensor to notify you when draining is needed.
