Find Your Solutions

Equipment That Works Smarter — Not Just Harder

The equipment you invest in today determines how competitive your operation is tomorrow. At Bingham Equipment, one of our core values is innovation and change — and that means we deliberately partner with brands that are leading the charge in technology, not following it. Whether you're moving dirt on a job site or managing thousands of acres, the right technology built into the right machine reduces operating costs, cuts idle time, stretches fuel further, and gives you visibility into your fleet that simply wasn't possible a decade ago.

The reality is that technology gaps compound over time. A machine without telematics means more unplanned downtime, more fuel wasted at idle, and less visibility into what your fleet is actually costing you. A guidance system that eliminates rework on a grading job or a baler that automatically adjusts to changing field conditions isn't a luxury — it's the difference between a profitable season and one that just breaks even. Choosing equipment that leads in technology means your operation doesn't have to work harder to stay competitive. It already has the tools built in to work smarter.

Equipment Technology & Telematics

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about telematics, remote operation, GPS guidance, fleet tracking, and precision agriculture technology — Kubota, Bobcat, CASE, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, and more.

Bingham Equipment supports connected technology platforms across multiple brands:

  • Kubota – KubotaNOW telematics (WorkSmart platform), myKubota app, and Kubota Ag Innovations including autonomous equipment.
  • Bobcat – MaxControl remote operation and Machine IQ wireless telematics.
  • CASE – SiteWatch telematics, myCASEConstruction app, and SiteControl precision grade control.

Telematics is a system that collects real-time data from your equipment — GPS location, engine hours, fuel levels, fault codes, idle time, and machine health — and transmits it to a web or mobile platform you can access from anywhere.

For Arizona and Imperial Valley operators, telematics addresses real daily challenges: machines spread across remote desert job sites you can't visit easily, Arizona summer heat that accelerates wear and causes unexpected failures, equipment theft on unattended overnight sites, and shrinking labor that makes every hour of uptime more valuable. Instead of driving out to check on a machine, you open an app and know its status in seconds.

OEM telematics systems (KubotaNOW, Bobcat Machine IQ, CASE SiteWatch, New Holland FieldOps, MF Connect) are each specific to their brand and provide the deepest machine-specific data for that manufacturer's equipment.

Razor Tracking is a multi-brand GPS fleet management platform available through Bingham Equipment that covers equipment from any manufacturer on one map — including trucks, trailers, and non-powered assets that OEM systems are not designed to track. It also has a native CNH integration for New Holland and Case IH equipment.

OEM telematics and Razor Tracking serve different purposes: OEM platforms provide deep machine-specific diagnostic data, while Razor Tracking provides location and movement visibility across all asset types regardless of brand. Talk to your Bingham Equipment specialist about which platforms fit your fleet and operation.

All of the telematics platforms we carry transmit via cellular networks. In areas where coverage is limited, most systems store data locally on the device and sync it automatically once connectivity is restored — so you don't lose data even when operating in remote desert locations.

CASE SiteWatch uses a dual-band modem that searches across 180+ carriers on both CDMA and GSM networks, with an internal battery backup for key-off operation. Razor Tracking devices also cache data locally and upload on reconnection. Contact your nearest Bingham Equipment location to discuss connectivity options for your specific operating area.

KubotaNOW is Kubota's telematics system built on the WorkSmart Telematics platform. When a compatible Kubota machine is equipped with a WorkSmart modem, it transmits real-time data to the My Kubota app (free on iOS and Android) and the My Kubota web platform. You can monitor all of the following without being on site:

  • Live GPS location and ignition status
  • Engine hours, RPM, and operating status
  • Fuel level, DEF level, coolant temperature, and hydraulic temperature
  • Fault codes with near real-time notification
  • Geofencing — draw boundaries and get alerts on entry/exit
  • Restart Inhibit — remotely disable the machine's starter from the app

KubotaNOW is standard on Kubota compact track loaders, skid steers, and wheel loaders from model year 2019 forward on supported models. All equipped machines include 3 years of Premium Telematics at no additional cost. After that, Premium renews at $100/year or $10/month per machine. Bingham Equipment installs KubotaNOW modems at all Arizona locations.

Premium Telematics (included free for 3 years, then $100/year or $10/month per machine) includes: unlimited WorkSmart updates, accurate real-time location, current machine vitals and fault codes, geofencing, Restart Inhibit, enhanced notifications, and API access for third-party fleet platforms.

Basic Telematics is the free tier machines roll to automatically after the 3-year Premium term expires. It provides only 2 WorkSmart data updates per day and basic location data. Geofencing, Restart Inhibit, real-time fault alerts, and enhanced notifications are not available on Basic.

WorkSmart Telematics is compatible with a range of Kubota construction and ag equipment including the SVL97-2, SVL75-2, SVL65-2, SSV65, SSV75, KX040-4, KX033-4, KX030-4, KX018-4, U-Series compact excavators, R430, R540 wheel loaders, and more. A KubotaNOW modem is required for machines not factory-equipped with telematics.

Yes — a KubotaNOW modem can be added as an aftermarket installation to compatible machines you already own. Contact any Bingham Equipment Arizona location to confirm compatibility for your specific model and schedule installation with our certified technicians.

Restart Inhibit lets you remotely disable a machine's starter through the My Kubota app. Once you send the Disable Starting command, the WorkSmart device receives it at its next check-in. Turn the machine's key to ignition ON for 3–5 seconds to confirm the command was received — after that, the starter will not engage until you re-enable it from the app.

It does not shut off a machine that's already running, but once shut off it will not restart without your authorization. Combined with geofencing — which alerts you the moment equipment moves outside a set boundary — Restart Inhibit gives Arizona contractors two layers of theft protection for equipment left overnight on remote job sites near Casa Grande, Yuma, Parker, Cottonwood, or anywhere else across the state.

Kubota continues to expand its technology portfolio. Here are just a few of Kubota's innovations designed to address labor shortages and precision farming needs:

  • Kilter AX-1 Autonomous Weeding Robot – Moves through fields autonomously using AI to apply herbicide only where it's needed, reducing chemical usage by up to 95% and eliminating the need for manual hand-weeding labor.
  • Kubota All-Terrain Tractor – Designed for hillsides and steep slopes, it uses a leveling system to keep the platform stable on uneven ground, carries up to 240 kg of payload, and won the Best of Innovation Award at CES 2025.
  • Kubota Agri Robo MR1000A – An autonomous tractor for field operations that can be monitored remotely, uses sensors to detect obstacles, and allows one operator to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously during planting or tillage.

These innovations are designed to help farms maintain productivity when labor is limited. Ask your Bingham Equipment specialist about current availability and compatibility with your operation.

MaxControl is Bobcat's dealer-installed remote operation system for compact loaders. Using the free Bobcat MaxControl app on an iPhone or iPad, you can control your Bobcat loader and all attachments from up to 300 feet away — completely outside the cab. The system provides full loader control including drive forward/reverse, lift, tilt, and all auxiliary hydraulic functions.

MaxControl works with compact loaders equipped with Selectable Joystick Control (SJC), including compatible models going back to 2004 — so you may not need a new machine. One operator can even control multiple MaxControl machines by selecting each as needed.

MaxControl is a game-changer for Arizona contractors dealing with labor shortages and extreme summer heat. It turns traditional two-person jobs into efficient solo operations. Common applications include:

  • Gate and gated community work – Navigate machines through gates without a second operator.

  • Maintenance tracking with predictive service reminders based on actual usage
  • Geofencing and curfew alerts when equipment moves after hours or exits a defined zone
  • 18 months of historical data for billing, cost analysis, and fleet benchmarking

SiteWatch also works on non-CASE machines through a Universal Install Kit, making it an option for monitoring a mixed brand fleet from one dashboard.

Yes. A Universal Install Kit allows you to add SiteWatch to machines from any manufacturer, including CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, and others, so you can monitor a mixed-brand fleet from a single dashboard. Ask our team about retrofit options for the machines in your fleet.

SiteControl is CASE's GPS-guided precision earthmoving platform for dozers, excavators, motor graders, and skid steers. The system uses GPS receivers and sensors mounted to the machine to guide the blade or bucket to a precise design elevation in real time. In fully automatic configurations, the system moves the blade without operator input.

For Arizona contractors tackling commercial site development, road work, canal and irrigation infrastructure, or residential grading, SiteControl means moving dirt once — no rework, no over-excavation, consistent accuracy from the first pass to the last. Key benefits include:

  • Fewer passes, less fuel, and less machine wear
  • Sharper bids when you know your true cost per cubic yard
  • Better results from less experienced operators

CASE SiteControl is certified with Leica, Topcon, and Trimble GPS systems. READY Kits for crawler dozers provide pre-installed wiring harnesses compatible with all three brands.

Getting started is straightforward:

  • Step 1 – Visit our Casa Grande or Yuma location to confirm your machine has the telematics module installed and activate your SiteWatch subscription.
  • Step 2 – Download the myCASEConstruction app from the App Store or Google Play and complete registration once you receive your registration email.

The app allows you to manage all machines and job sites from one interface, respond to maintenance alerts, compare fuel consumption across the fleet, create and track job sites, and manage geofencing — all from your phone, tablet, or desktop.

New Holland FieldOps™ and MyFarm is New Holland's cloud-based farm management and telematics platform. It connects your equipment to a dashboard accessible from your phone or computer, where you can monitor machine location, engine hours, fuel consumption, alerts, and operational data in real time.

For Arizona operators managing multiple fields or running equipment across remote locations, FieldOps eliminates the need to physically check on a machine to know what it's doing. Key capabilities include:

  • Monitor equipment productivity and machine utilization in real time
  • Track field activity and coverage maps across seasons
  • Access operational and agronomic data from any device
  • Historical data storage for season-over-season comparisons and better input decisions
  • Integration with third-party farm management software

FieldOps is designed primarily for New Holland and CNH equipment and integrates most deeply with those machines.

New Holland IntelliSense is an automated baler management system for large square balers. It continuously monitors bale density, chamber conditions, and crop moisture in real time during baling operations, and automatically adjusts baler settings to maintain consistent, high-quality bales without the operator needing to intervene manually.

For Arizona alfalfa and hay operations, this is particularly valuable because hay moisture can change significantly between morning and afternoon in the desert climate. IntelliSense maintains consistent bale quality across the entire cutting without stopping to re-adjust settings.

IntelliSense also logs complete bale data — GPS location, weight, moisture, and density — for every bale produced, giving you a full production record for every field and every cutting.

New Holland offers GNSS guidance solutions ranging from basic lightbar-assisted steering to fully automated sub-inch RTK autosteer. For Arizona cotton, alfalfa, and vegetable operations where row accuracy directly affects yield and irrigation efficiency, precision guidance can reduce overlap and improve input efficiency across the season.

New Holland's PLM Intelligence platform manages GNSS correction sources, field boundaries, coverage maps, and prescription applications through the IntelliView display. It is compatible with RTK base stations, NTRIP correction networks, and New Holland's own correction subscription services. The IntelliView 12 — New Holland's 9-inch in-cab touchscreen — serves as the single interface for guidance, machine control, field mapping, and FieldOps telematics data all in one display.

FUSE is Massey Ferguson's open digital farming platform developed by AGCO. It is an integrated ecosystem of smart farming tools that work together and connect to a single cloud-based hub. A key advantage is its open-architecture design — FUSE integrates with most major farm management software and is compatible with mixed-brand fleets through ISOBUS-compatible implements.

The FUSE platform includes:

  • MF Connect – telematics and remote fleet management
  • MF Guide – hands-free GPS autosteer with sub-centimeter RTK accuracy options
  • Datatronic 5 – 9-inch touchscreen terminal serving as the cockpit for all FUSE tools
  • MF Section Control – automatic implement shutoff to eliminate input overlap
  • MF Task Doc – digital field records, job logging, and data transfer
  • MF Rate Control – variable rate application for precise input management

MF Connect collects real-time machine data — GPS location, engine load, fuel consumption, operating hours, fault codes, and service status — and transmits it to a secure cloud platform accessible from any desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

MF Connect comes standard with a free 5-year subscription on select 6-cylinder Massey Ferguson tractors. Terms apply — ask our Yuma team for current eligibility details.

Key MF Connect features include:

  • Remote fleet monitoring – live dashboard showing every machine's location, fuel burn, engine load, idle time, and active work hours.
  • Dealer-integrated service alerts – with your permission, MF Connect sends diagnostic notifications directly to the Bingham Equipment service team before a fault becomes a field breakdown.
  • Geofencing and security – instant phone alert any time a machine crosses a defined boundary after hours.

Research shows MF Guide precision guidance systems can reduce fuel consumption by up to 12% by eliminating overlap passes. For operators running 1,000+ hours per season in Arizona's desert conditions, that can represent meaningful savings. Reductions in seed, fertilizer, pesticide, and water from eliminating double-applied passes can also add up significantly across a season.

MF Guide offers three accuracy tiers:

  • Sub-metre accuracy – suitable for tillage, baling, and general field work
  • Decimetre (10 cm) accuracy – ideal for fertilizer application, spraying, and strip-till
  • Centimetre RTK accuracy – required for precision planting, transplanting, and permanent bed systems common in Yuma-area vegetable production

MF Guide is available factory-fitted on new tractors or as a retrofit on a wide range of existing MF models. A "Go Mode" gets operators up and running in under 5 minutes. Contact your nearest Bingham Equipment location to discuss retrofit compatibility for your specific machine.

Yes — one of FUSE's core design principles is its open platform approach. MF Connect can monitor suitably equipped machines from other manufacturers, and the guidance and section control tools are designed to integrate with mixed fleets through ISOBUS-compatible implements. FUSE also integrates with most major farm management software, so it can work alongside the tools you already use for agronomic planning.

Razor Tracking is a multi-brand GPS fleet management system that puts every asset — equipment, trucks, trailers, and non-powered assets — on a single live map in one app with one login. Unlike OEM telematics systems (KubotaNOW, Bobcat Machine IQ, CASE SiteWatch), which are limited to their specific brand's equipment, Razor Tracking covers everything you own regardless of brand.

What OEM systems don't cover that Razor Tracking does:

  • Company trucks and vans
  • Equipment trailers and tilt decks
  • Non-powered assets: attachments, generators, light towers, compaction plates, anhydrous tanks, grain augers, irrigation equipment
  • Dash camera integration with GPS tracking and video recording
  • Any machine from any brand on one unified map

Razor Tracking also has a native CNH integration that pulls richer machine data from New Holland and Case IH equipment directly into the Razor Tracking dashboard. Talk to your Bingham Equipment specialist about how Razor Tracking fits alongside the OEM telematics on your equipment.

Here is what Bingham Equipment offers from the Razor Tracking lineup:

  • Pro GPS Tracker – Hardwired, always-on GPS for powered heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, compactors, loaders, tractors, combines). Draws from the machine battery. Standard choice for your highest-value powered assets.
  • Premier GPS Tracker – Advanced hardwired GPS with expanded reporting and integration. Best for rental fleets, multi-site operations, and contractors who need detailed utilization exports or billing documentation.
  • Elite Dash Camera – GPS tracking plus continuous video recording for service trucks, crew vans, and grain cart tractors. One device covers location and incident documentation. Footage available on demand by date, time, and location.
  • Solar Hybrid Tracker – Battery-powered with a solar panel for self-recharging. No wiring required. Ideal for trailers, implements, and stored equipment. Arizona's sun keeps it charged nearly year-round.
  • AT230 Asset Tracker – Compact battery-powered tracker for non-powered assets with no power source: attachments, buckets, anhydrous tanks, grain augers, generators, light towers, irrigation equipment, and job site tooling. Configurable update intervals conserve battery for months. Movement alerts fire immediately regardless of update interval.

Construction equipment theft in Arizona has climbed steadily — a mini excavator or skid steer left on an unattended site overnight is worth $30,000–$80,000 and can be loaded and moved in under 20 minutes. Most stolen equipment is never recovered because there's no trail to follow.

Razor Tracking changes that. You set a geofence around each active job site in the app — it takes about 2 minutes per site. If any tracked asset moves outside the boundary after hours, you receive an immediate alert with the asset's last known location and direction of movement. You can share live location data with law enforcement to assist in real-time recovery. Contractors who have recovered equipment using Razor Tracking report significantly better outcomes than with untracked equipment.

The AT230 Asset Tracker also fires movement alerts immediately regardless of its update interval setting, so even your lowest-cost tracked assets are protected against unauthorized movement.

Yes. Razor Tracking has a native integration with CNH equipment, including New Holland and Case IH tractors, combines, and sprayers. This means your CNH machines communicate directly with the Razor Tracking platform for richer machine data — without adapters or workarounds — alongside your trailers, trucks, and other brand equipment all in the same dashboard.

No — setup is straightforward and fast. The Pro GPS Tracker and Premier GPS Tracker are hardwired by a Bingham Equipment technician. The Solar Hybrid Tracker and AT230 are completely wire-free and require no installation at all. Account setup and geofence configuration in the Razor Tracking app is simple, and our team can walk you through it at the counter.

For a small construction or ag fleet, device installation and geofence setup typically takes less than an hour total. You can also shop online at binghamequipment.com. Contact any Bingham Equipment location to get started.
